After July 19, 2011, all applications for New Single Family Homes or Townhouses require a Use and Occupancy Registration.
The registration is processed automatically with the building permit application; The applicant does not have to submit any additional information. The Permit Technician will process an administrative registration fee during the building permit submittal process.
Following the approval of all required building, electrical, mechanical and WSSC inspections a Use and Occupancy inspection will be performed. This inspection will verify all code related safety and health requirements have been met. A Use and Occupancy Certificate will be mailed to you following the inspection approval.
